This 2014 Golf R quickly became one of those, thankfully rare, jobs were you have to say sorry we can’t do it.

After carrying out the decontamination process more and more defects in the paintwork became apparent.

A call to the owner to confirm our suspicions ended up with the decision made to halt the job.

Every panel showed signs of burn through, sanding marks, overspray and much much more.

Door seals, window rubbers and even the headlights were covered in overspray.

Unfortunately the owner had paid many thousands to a local “Bodyshop” to have the work carried out 😢
